For its volume this magnificent architectural work occupies the third place of importance in the world, its dome measures 91.73 meters, which makes it the largest capitol dome any on the planet.
For its height and diameter, the dome of the Capitol of Cuba ranks sixth worldwide and by the time of its construction ranked third, surpassed only by the cathedrals of St. Peter's in Rome and St. Paul's in London.
