...today i have a very very cool post about a great job i did together with my friend CARO AMAYA <3 some months ago in the middle of Berlin
This summer my friend CARO was booked to paint stairs at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. She asked me to help her out with the colors and technique because she never used spray paint before and we already did some good jobs together.
After months of waiting and planing we had an "okay" for painting the stairs. We were pretty excited about this project and the amazing location.
I have some very nice pictures for you today and also some progress shots :) ...so lets jump into it and see how this colorful stairs came out!
When we started this project the stairs was never painted before! No paint and not even one tagging or something. That was kind of weird to see in Berlin. But this is Potsdamer Platz. Kind of different there :P
So the stairs was beton grey and we started to clean it and paint it all white two times before we start with the spray paint. Otherwise the beton will just "eat" this color and you have to go over and over again.
Lets start with some colors now!
So excited to do this :D
People was wondering so hard what happens here?! Because nothing ever happend there for yeeears and now we changed something what looks so different after we finished.
Also with the cam and everything we had a lot of people stopping by, wondering and give us some big compliments :) They loved it so much! Such positive reactions.
Look at this amazing spot!

The concept by the way is from CARO and the name of the work is BLOOM!
To color everything in this position and clean the lines was kind of a hard job but we always had a really really good time :)
Thinking how i can work smart, not hard :P
Maybe its better to work in "Black and White"?!
Let me try it:

Step by step it is growing :)
We kind of "closed" it in the night time.
After six days we finished the stairs and the people loved it! Everybody wanted to touch it, go up and down, make selfies and pictures :))
"Can we have a picture with the artists?"
Sure!
We had so much fun <3
Kids wanted to stay there forever <3
She had to leave crying because she did not wanted to go from the stairs hahahaah

Also a lot of people made pictures of their dog sitting there. So cute <3

We gave a lot of kids a spray can for a cool picture! They had a lot of fun :)
A whole class or something came by :D
What an amazing week! It was great to meet all those people, talk to them and to paint this amazing project!
