NEW BIG canvas - Portrait (Step by step) MUST SEE AND READ! :)
...today i will show you a big canvas i painted by the way and i kind of like how it turned out.
More and more i try to paint portraits, photo realistic stuff and try to give me a level up.
I like to give me a challenge always and try something new. Thats why this is not just a portrait, its a portrait with my own touch and playing around :)

I already made this background long time ago and never knew what to paint on it. Kind of looked pretty cool like this too.
Going with some first lines.
Shadows
From dark colors to bright. Fillin
Next color.
More light.
Now i start my "playing around".
Lets bring some colors here in the picture.
Looks good so far.
Lets start with some abstract details and just playing around.
The next step brings the face alive with black, eyelashes, working on the lips and effects in the eye, ...
More here and there, ...
Now we have a "artwork". But its not finish yet. I still see some parts i want to fill.
I created a pattern design and worked on on the background to make this canvas to one flowing picture.

Thats right! The top is still kind of empty! ...worked with the pattern here again.
I had the canvas like this some days and was like "it is finish"!
But i was not really finish and didnt know what to change or what to do so i worked on other things to become a free head and maybe one time i will go back to it and finish it.
This worked! And it was just one little but important part finish it. A frame.
And this is how it looks now!!!

Yeah thats it. The canvas is 101cm x 201 cm big and took me a lot of time but also i had a lot of fun doing it.
It was just learning, fun and i still have the canvas here.
