A quick and cold freestyle session (step by step)

...some days ago i went spontan to the Take12 store to grab some stuff and when i m there i also want to paint.
Damn was this a cold day. It was so sunny and free from clouds at the morning but when i was at the store it was so cold, grey and sometimes with a little bit of rain.
So i had to hurry up because i wanted to finish my piece in one day. I had no plan what i want to paint and just started a freestyler. I am not happy with the result but on the pictures it looks kind of "okay".
I want to show you a little step by step story how i did this piece.

Of course we painted the wall first!
We mixed some color rests we found there and this color came out :D
... Firstlines
The firstlines are like a pencil. Doesnt matter what color of material you use. Its just for the proportions and you will not see them later. Morst time i use a "trash can" ...this means a spraycan for maybe 1.50 euro. You can find them in hardware stores or some graffiti shops sell them for cheap prices.

...i started with my fillin.
And because i am "edga", i always want to have something special in my works. This time i decided to paint my style like a wall on the top.
Last time i told you i am a fast painter and here you can see what i mean.
When i was done with my fill in and ready to paint the outlines the others still struggled with their firstlines.

All right, lets start with my outlines.
Great color!
When i was done with my outlines i saw they are still with their firstlines :O
Looks good the outline color.
Some shadings in the blocks and also i did a thin, black inline.
At this point it was kind of okay but i was not that happy and i still had a lot of time. But it was cold and i just wanted to go home.
I started to play around and freestyled some stuff around my piece because a guy came over, noticed me, gave me probs and told me he loves my psychedelic mushroom works, ... He was a cool and nice dude :)
... I started to paint some mushrooms then because they always look good, they are nice to paint and noting can go wrong because they are just fantasy ... they look however they are and i can play with a lot of pattern, colors and details.

A little bit here, a little bit more there, ...
I was not happy and had to fix this and bring everything together. I tried to do this with the blue light effects and this was a good decision.

Its near of finish now... the other guys decided to come back a second day and finish their pieces. It was so damn cold and not even fun to paint this wall :P (its always fun... but sometimes more, sometimes less ;) )

... i m near of painting a portrait on a wall again and have some other cool ideas i want to implement.
On saturday i will see my man ROLF again and we will have some dirty fun in his atelier, ...
I cant wait to show you all the results, progress shots and step by step stories!

I like the result of your work, it is interesting to see how initially from gray-green boring colour it was like someone switched on the light on. Seeing the mushrooms, I had to think about “magic mushrooms” :)
