The golden caskets

Marina as usual, went to read her favorite novel. She enjoys reading novels with mysteries and thrills. The book she came across this time is a special one. It was about a mysterious little golden chaitya. Marina had read such mystery novels before and she realized that this story was different. She continued to read the story. While reading this story, she remembered something her father had told her one day. Marina's father is an archaeologist who also conducts research on historical objects.

Marina's father once told her that there was a rumor in the past that there was a gold casket in a cave in a forest near where she lived. The father had told her that the thieves are also interested in this as there are some very precious pearls and gems in the gold casket. Marina's father also had a responsibility to protect such valuable artifacts from thieves.

In the novel she reads, there is an incident like this, so Marina wanted to find out the truth about this. She wanted to go to this cave and see if there really was such a golden casket. So she told two or three of her friends about it and talked to them about going to the forest with her. She was planning to go to the cave without telling her father as the group including her father were already doing research in the cave.

Marina left for the woods the next morning with two of her friends. She always thought that this was going to be a very adventurous journey. But none of these adventures took place. Before they could reach the cave, the team, including Marina's father, found the two gold casket in the cave. So Marina and her friends could not go to the cave. He was delighted to be able to successfully complete Marina's father's months of research. He and his team handed over the two gold caskets to the Archaeological Department for protection.

Marina was surprised when the incident in the novel she read happened actually happened. But her only regret is that she did not get a chance to take part in this adventure. She determined to become an archaeologist like her father, to carry out such adventurous research.
