How many wasps fit on a flower?

I am an animal lover but wasps are at the bottom end of my list of favourite animals. They are very important for farming and wildlife alike since they act as pollinators. Wasps are also attracted by fruit, honey, soft drinks and even beer. I have noticed that a significant number of insects like alcoholic drinks. Well, I haven't tried feeding them whiskey, but lighter drinks are a sure way of gathering some company.

I just learned that there are insects called fig wasps that end up laying eggs inside the fruit of fig trees and their larvae hatch while the fig is ripening. (Reference) I think I will stop eating figs...

Some species of wasps are actually predators. They look a bit different from the usual wasps that sometimes pester us. I remember taking photos of predatory wasps in the wild but finding the photos would be a challenge.

Speaking of looks, commonly seen wasps are somewhat similar to bees, however, they are actually slimmer, longer and there is a clear separation between the body segments. Bees are hairy and have wider wings.

Here is the inspiration behind this post. I was taking photos of the flowers in my grandmother's yard. There was a particular plant with a wasp walking over every single flower.

Soon I noticed a second wasp. And then one more. In fact, at least a dozen.

Even though the plant was fairly big, sometimes there were two wasps on the same flower.
