The Train | Photo of the week #150
Gambir Train Station is one of train station located in Central Jakarta. Near the President Palace, and National Monument (Monas).
Train journeys are always memorable for me, especially when I am on the island of Java. I took this journey when I was heading to the city of Bandung by train. It was one of the alternatives to avoid the severe traffic that often occurred on the Cikampek Toll Road at that time.
The journey to Bandung takes about 2 hours or more. While waiting for the train to arrive, I took some photos of the atmosphere at Gambir Train Station, observed the hustle and bustle of people who had just arrived and were departing for other cities, all while enjoying the view of Jakarta from a distance.
