Bangkok, the capital City of Thailand is a city which should be on everybody's bucket list.

Some interesting facts about Bangkok

Name:	The locals refer to Bangkok as "The city of angels"
Population:	Nearly 11 million people
Transportation:	The only city in the world that I know of where you can capture seven forms of transport in one photo. There are 40,000 colourful car taxi alone
Temples:	400+
Shopping:	From early until way after midnight with some of the markets getting over 200,000 visitors per day.
Sport:	Muay Thai boxing events all over the city and also known as "the art of eight limbs"
Food:	Mouthwatering and can be bought on every street corner
Fruit:	My favourite, the dragon fruit. Pink on the outside, white in the inside with black pips. You can buy cut watermelon and pineapple from street vendors
Laws:	Very strict! Thai people are not allowed to leave their homes without underwear
People:	Poor with big smiles and very humble
Climate	Can get extremely hot! Weather reports refer to the weather as "34 degrees but feels like 38" on National television

What amaze me is how in these photos the night is slowly creeping up covering the city. Everything looks so peaceful and yet within hours it will become on of the busiest cities in the world.

Bangkok is a shoppers paradise! What we do is to only take a bag pack with our toothbrushes and one set of clothes. When we get to Bangkok our shopping starts, from suitcases, clothing, toys and even electronics. Ordering a suit from a tailor will take only two days, including delivery to your hotel door.

A holiday in Bangkok is relatively cheap so pack your bag and go! It will be great to see a "I love Bangkok" sticker on your suitcase.
