Emulation: The Beauty of Fakeness
Nowadays, you can't tell what's real and what is not. The fakes are just as good as the real ones. Or at least that's what it looks like from the outside. But, the truth no matter how hard the fake tries to emulate the real beauty they will always fail.
This isn't a takedown of fake things. I like fake things. It would have been a hassle to have flowers or a tree in my room. But, I can have this beautiful fake flower instead which at least soothes my eye. It may not have the smell or the feel but it soothes my eye.
Genuineness is something to be celebrated. Emulation should be also be celebrated and not neglected as just a copy without any real talent attached to it. Copying is also a talent. So, is the beauty of this flower that is made of clothes and plastic.
I took this photo hoping to show the world the beauty of the fake lies in its run to emulate but not trying to completely become the real thing. Genuineness is not complete uniqueness. They are not the same thing. Be yourself.
