Weekly Contest, "Creating Short Story Week #25".
Hi fellow steemians,a warmly greetings from me to you all,I hope we are all doing good as I am?
It's yet another week of creating stories. I want to thank @xpilar , @worldofexpilar. My story is about a father,mother and their son.
A man was living with his wife and their only son. Live was hard for them,for this reason, their son could not finished his education. They both tried to change the situation but couldn't.
One day,the son told his parents that he wishes to travel far from home to work for the betterment of them. The father and mother all prayed for him,so he left with his bag. He travels to a long distance country that he could not even have access to his parents again.
The son worked hard because he knows what brought him,he runs from work to work without resting. The son hustle for 15 years in his travel. But within the years,he was able to get much money,he was rich. He decided to leave for home.
When got home,it was in the evening,so he could not recognized his house again. But he remembered one of his father friend house. He went there, and did some introduction to him,the father friend was able to recognize him.
So he took the boy to his house,his parents couldn't recognize him neither the boy does. But the father's friend asked to keep his traveler for the night,so that he can do proper introduction to them.
The mother got to know that,the traveler has a lot of money with him,so could not stand it,she rushed to her husband and inform him about his friend traveler. The woman told the husband that she wants to kill him so that they can took the money,that they have suffered a lot. But the husband asked her not to do that, and the woman got offended.
So the husband asked her to do pleases her,so she went and killed the stranger. It was in the morning,the father friend was so happy that he knew his friends son who travel has come back with money. So got there and told his friend and wife that they should be happy,he congratulate them,that their sufferings has now come to pass,they asked him why,he told them that,it was their son who came back last night and that he is now rich. The mother raises her hands and start crying because she already killed her son not knowing.🥺
