Había llovido durante la noche. Una lluvia recia, copiosa, que parecía querer lavar todo, dejar todo sin muestras de contaminación. En tiempos de pandemia, esa lluvia hablaba de bendiciones, de limpieza a fondo.

El ambiente respiraba humedad y oxígeno, aún caían algunas gotas, pero Williams y Mirtha quisieron salir a disfrutar del amanacer. Aún había rebosantes charcos de agua y el frescor de la mañana erizaba la piel, igual que la brisa rizaba la superficie marina.

El cielo, el mar, el horizonte ofrecían un escenario maravilloso. Una paleta de colores que hizo suspirar a los enamorados. Porque estaban enamorados, cumplían un año de matrimonio. Se casaron en febrero. El Covid los corprendió en plena luna de miel. Tendrían muchas historias ppara sus hijos y nietos...

Disfrutaron de la salida del sol y luego su ascenso glorioso hacia un día bonito, recién lavado y soleado. Williams y Mirtha se abrazaron. Se besaron y abrazados siguieron contemplando el ascenso del sol y la huida de las nubes. Desde su observatorio, sólo se veía esperanza y armonía. Los juncos elevaban sus espigas, que servían de marco a un día sonriente, a un mar rizado y a un sin fin de esperanzas.

La joven pareja, se tomó de las manos y sorteando los charcos, regresó a su casa. La vida continuaba con renovada esperanza.

It had rained during the night. A heavy, copious rain that seemed to want to wash everything, leaving everything without signs of contamination. In times of pandemic, t>hat rain spoke of blessings, of deep cleaning.

The atmosphere breathed humidity and oxygen, some drops were still falling, but Williams and Mirtha wanted to go out to enjoy the sunrise. There were still overflowing pools of water, and the coolness of the morning made skin crawl, just as the breeze ruffled the sea surface.

The sky, the sea, the horizon offered a wonderful setting. A color palette that made lovers sigh. Because they were in love, they had been married for one year. They were married in February. The Covid caught them in the middle of their honeymoon. They would have many stories for their children and grandchildren ...

They enjoyed the sunrise and then their glorious ascent to a beautiful, freshly washed, sunny day. Williams and Mirtha hugged. They kissed and embraced they continued to contemplate the rise of the sun and the flight of the clouds. From their observatory, only hope and harmony could be seen. The reeds raised their ears, which served as a frame for a smiling day, a curly sea and endless hopes.

The young couple held hands and dodging the puddles, returned home. Life went on with renewed hope.
