Greetings to all!
Today I was inspired by the works of one watercolor master named I.M. I am impressed by the virtuosity of his watercolor technique. Basically he works in the landscape genre, which, again, appeals to me. I do not expect to reach the level of a maestro, but I am very interested in at least understanding how he does certain things. Something I figured out. And something that is completely incomprehensible to me!
I realized that the maestro works with thick layers of paint. Sometimes the paint is as thick as gouache or tempera. It looks like he's using urea by sprinkling it with a brush in certain areas of the painting. This gives interesting effects, the paint is blurred with a whimsical pattern.
