"Any trip is a holiday that will forever remain in your memory" — someone

We went to a neighboring city last week with the goal of watching the operetta "Geisha"
My friend is a great expert in finding cheap tickets and getting information about where you can get some fun
It was his idea to watch the operetta. Well, if there was an idea, it would always be possible to implement it.
Tickets for the show were discounted at about $5. I'm sure you'll say that you're unaccustomed to such prices. An hour and a half later we reached our destination. Our ladies did not miss the chance to visit a couple of places for shopping. The male half of our company has slightly different hobbies, but this time we decided to restrain our impulses. However, I must note there were many different temptations around

What is the operetta about? I will briefly retell the plot of the action

Act I
A certain English naval lieutenant Reggie was bored in Japan. He begins to spend his free time at the Ten Thousand Joys tea house, where Wun-Hai is the boss. At the tea house, he pays attention to the geisha Mimosa-san. The couple plays entertaining games. A lieutenant teaches a Japanese woman how to kiss. How cute is that, isn't it? But the geisha is in love with some obscure Japanese man, Katana.

This relationship is noticed by Lady Constance, who is an English aristocrat, suffragette and a very generous lady. She reminds the rake of her engagement to some Molly, and sends Molly a letter.
The local ruler Imari (for some reason the Marquis!) also wants Mimosa. He is angry that his chosen one has frequent meetings with Western barbarians, British sailors. Therefore, he wants to close the tea house and sell off the girls’ contracts.

At this moment, the sexy French translator Juliette appears. She decides to marry a Japanese marquis.

Suddenly Molly appears. In operetta everything happens quickly :)
Mimosa and Lady Constance weave an intrigue and tell Molly that Reggie has fallen in love with a geisha. Mimosa invites Molly to fool around a little in the style of the operetta "The Bat". The clownery begins with changing clothes.
The Marquis then begins an auction to sell the geisha's obligations. Lady Constance manages to buy out Mimosa's contract. What unprecedented generosity of a British lady, isn’t it?!
Lady Constance spent the money and was unable to buy lot number two, the newly minted geisha Roli Poly. The stupid Marquis buys the lot and it turns out that the geisha is actually Molly in disguise.

Act 2
The characters are trying to fool the stupid Japanese Imari. In the operetta, all the British are very beautiful, noble, etc. The rest, Asians in the form of the Chinese and Japanese, are cunning, ugly and unpleasant. How cute, isn't it?
So Mimosa comes up with a plan to save Molly. This whole roguish company is making a bride switch; they want to change Molly for Juliette, a French translator.

The wedding ceremony begins. An insidious plan is put into action. They slip another product to the stupid Japanese marquis. The Marquis, having learned about the deception, accepts his fate with philosophical humility. Everyone has fun, Mimosa gets to marry sad Katana, and Reggie gets Molly. Molly sings a song about how she would never marry a foreign nobleman if she could be with a British sailor.
