Today I woke up sticky with sweat. Heat covered the city in the early morning. The night gave a brief respite. I called my mother to find out how she tolerates heat. Oddly enough, she replied that she had everything ok. It is very difficult for old people to endure heat. I am surprised at my cat, it prefers not to move at all. It chooses the coolest places in the apartment and sleeps for the whole day!
In the summer, the city is especially stuffy and hot for everyone. Therefore, most people prefer to spend summer vacations on the coast of water bodies. The sun quickly heats the asphalt and concrete walls of houses, dries the earth ... in the city it becomes dusty and stuffy.

We feel, stronger than in the cold season, suffocation of automobile exhausts. It becomes uncomfortable to ride in public transport - it's hot and there is almost nothing to breathe inside. On this I want to finish listing the unpleasant moments. In summer, the city has a lot of interesting things, especially in the morning and in the evenings, when the heat subsides. For example, various competitions and open-air concerts are held. You can sit on the open terrace of a cafe and eat ice cream. And most of all I like that you can do sports in the fresh air - ride a bike, play tennis, football. In the summer I don’t feel like sitting in the apartment. I like to walk along the shady alleys, sit near the fountain. The city is beautiful in summer - all kinds of flowers are dotted with well-kept flower beds, green trees give coolness. It is good if the city has a river or sea. Then you don’t have to think about where to relax. I can easily spend all day on the beach. There is nothing more pleasant than plunging into cool water in the heat. I really like summer rain. It washes dust off city roads, refreshes foliage on trees. The air is filled with a pleasant fresh aroma. It is good to take a walk after the rain in beautiful places in the city. And it is possible during it, because the rain is warm in summer

These days we are all waiting for rain. Rain will clear the streets. Rain will refresh flowers, grass and trees. Rain will refresh us, it,ll cleanse our souls. We are waiting for the rain!
