Bambuka hat sich einen neuen Fotowettbewerb ausgedacht. Wunderbar, ich freue mich dabei zu sein. Hoffe ich zumindest, da ich nicht sicher bin, alles richtig verstanden zu haben ;-)
Bambuka has come up with a new photo contest. Wonderful, I am happy to be part of it. At least I hope so, because I'm not sure I got everything right ;-)
Zunächst möchte ich mir alle drei Bilder inkl. der SW-Varianten ansehen.
First of all, I would like to look at all three pictures including the SW versions.
Tja, welches nehmen? Ich entscheide mich für das Bild links, die Symmetrie ist erstaunlich und die Konturen lassen sich in Monochrome bestimmt gut hervorheben.
Well, which one? I decide on the picture on the left, the symmetry is amazing and the contours can certainly be emphasised well in monochrome.

Mich irritiert der Schatten rechts, das Bild ist wunderbar symmetrisch, ich kopiere einen horizontal gespiegelten Ausschnitt der linken Seite über den rechten Bereich mit dem Schatten.
I am irritated by the shadow on the right, the picture is wonderfully symmetrical, I copy a horizontally mirrored section of the left side over the right area with the shadow.
Nach wenigen Korrekturen mit dem Radierer sieht es so aus:

Für die Konvertierung nach schwarz/weiß nutze ich den "Mono Mixer", mit diesem Tool lassen sich die Farbkanäle einzeln steuern.
For the conversion to black and white I use the "Mono Mixer", with this tool the colour channels can be controlled individually.
Noch etwas flau. Zum setzen des Schwarzpunktes ist der Schwellwert nützlich, er befindet sich im linken Bereich des Bildes.
Still a little dull. The threshold value is useful for setting the black point, it is located in the left area of the image.
Auf diese Stelle setze ich den Schwarzpunkt, so sieht es danach aus:

Um das Bild etwas älter aussehen zu lassen, lege ich eine Ebene in einem Braunton #6d4412 darüber, Ebenenmodus auf Überlagern, Deckkraft 80%.
To make the image look a bit older, I put a layer in a brown tone #6d4412 over it, layer mode on overlay, opacity 80%.
Die Bögen am unteren Bildrand kommen noch weg, so wirkt das Bild auf mich etwas ruhiger.
I take away the arches at the bottom of the picture, so the picture looks a bit calmer to me.
Final
Wusste garnicht das Du auch in Fotos bearbeiten sehr gut ist. Schaue mir den Contest mal an.
