Hello Friends,
I will share with you some pictures of the National Costume as my participation in the Weekly Challenge Photo of the Week which is held by @mister-omortson.
Kebaya and batik are the national costumes in Indonesia. Kebaya is worn during official events such as governmental events, weddings, and formal gatherings. As Indonesia consists of various ethnic groups, the Kebaya also contains elements of the local culture of each region. While batik is generally worn at official government meetings, office work, and certain events at schools. Batik patterns are also varied and each region has a different batik style and color.
I am in the middle wearing batik, this is the moment when I attended the official events with the local government of Papua Province, and they also performed their traditional costume.
The pictures above are kebaya in the events of independence day at the office, my friends and I were wearing different kebaya.
