Javanese cultural Dance Performance of Ramayana (PowerUp 100%)

Hello Everyone,

Today, I am going to share one of the cultural drama as one of my favorite love stories. My friends and I watched this dance performance who have the same hobby following the development of the archipelago's culture. We have watched the same program in several different areas such as in Yogyakarta, Magelang, and Bali. The storyline is the same but packed with cultural customs in each area.

This time the story is beautifully made using Javanese tradition which carries the legend of the love story of Rama and Sinta or known as the Ramayana. In short, Rama is trying to save his lover, Sinta, who was kidnapped by Ravana, the evil giant. Thanks to the supernatural powers and the help of some of Rama's friends, Sinta was rescued.

Not only is the storyline interesting to follow, but traditional Javanese clothes with unique decoration add to the beauty of the dance moves. And during the fight scenes in defeating Ravana, the dance is very interesting to watch.

Note:

This time, I didn't attach the pictures of the fight between Rama vs Ravana, as they used the Keris, a Javanese blade, I'm afraid as it contains elements of violence, just enjoy the beauty of cultural musical drama pictures. ☺️
