Art Venture Contest: Freestyle Portrait

Hello everyone!

I want to show you my new artwork. It's a random portrait drawing of a beautiful lady showing a light and shadow effect.

This is my second entry for @art-venture constest organized by @stef1 with the "freestyle portrait"

It's really been a while I used this pattern of shading to create a piece so I decided to use it today to freestyle.

I used diagonal strokes to build my forms and express myself. I allowed some of the strokes to be seen thereby creating fine lines.

I started by make outline sketch of my model.

Thereafter, I started adding shadings with hatching focusing on the where there is cast shadow.

Finally rounded up the drawing working on her shirt and a little build up on her hair.
