meet me again @master-dhian, in today's post I'm back at the contest held by @sultan-aceh, the MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST IN #STEEM #STEEMIT #TRON #WOXTOKEN | WEEK 20 | WITH WOX COMMUNITY, and this contest is supported directly by @xpilar who acts as Leader, and also admin from the XPILAR DUNIA community.

On this occasion I want to share a post about the unique Leaf Beetle that lives in the Aceh forest. I found this Leaf Beetle with my fellow team members @aceh while looking for macrophotography objects.

Most leaf beetles are small – less than 1.2 cm in length – but some species can reach up to 2 cm. Their elytra (hardened wings) are often smooth and shiny, but sometimes have a distinctive shape or may be serrated or pitted. They come in a variety of colors.

It lives in low shrubs and eats young leaves as food, they have stages starting from eggs turning into larvae and eating soybean plants and roots and other plants, then they will turn cocoons, and hatch, into young Leaf Beetles, until it is mature and ready to reproduce again.
