La semana pasada estuve aprendiendo a trabajar por capas y a hacer algunos degradados. No es difícil pero hay que ser paciente porque no todo resulta como uno lo espera. El dibujo digital es muy creativo, no obstante hay que conocer las herramientas de trabajo para no duplicar el tiempo en una acción (como me sucede a mí).

Last week I was learning how to work in layers and make some gradients. It's not difficult but you have to be patient because not everything results as you expect. Digital drawing is very creative, however you have to know the tools to work in order not to duplicate the time in an action (as it happens to me).

A continuación presentaré el proceso de elaboración de mi dibujo en basado en el arte digital de @xpilar.

Lo primero es lo primero. Hice el esquema de trabajo o las primeras líneas que me indican dónde ubicar luego los colores.

Next I will present the process of elaboration of my drawing based on the digital art of @xpilar.

First things first. I made the work scheme or the first lines that tell me where to place the colors next.

El esquema que mostré anteriormente va a variar en la medida en que avancé con el trabajo. Por ejemplo la luna no era redonda pero necesitaba tener una idea aproximada de su ubicación.

Luego que tuve una idea del lienzo coloqué los colores de fondo y empecé a trabajar el árbol a la izquierda. Fue lo que más me gustó al igual que la luna, como resultado final.

The scheme I showed above will vary as I progressed with the work. For example the moon was not round but I needed to have a rough idea of its location.

After I had an idea of the canvas I placed the background colors and started working on the tree on the left. That's what I liked the most, as well as the moon, as a final result.

Finalmente, trabajé o intenté hacer un efecto de corriente de agua. Corregí varios errores y tuve que enfrentarme al cielo. Realmente, hice lo mejor que pude. Trabajé el cielo en 19 capas y no se asemeja para nada al arte de @xpilar. En todo voy a investigar en algún momento cómo se hacen esas nubes dramáticas.

Lo más sencillo en este paso fue la luna y una sombra sobre ella.

Finally, I worked or tried to make a stream effect. I corrected several mistakes and had to face heaven. I really did my best! I worked the sky in 19 layers and it doesn't resemble in absolute the art @xpilar. I'm going to investigate at some point how those dramatic clouds are made.

The simplest thing in this step was the moon and a shadow above it.

Y ahora sí el final-final. La misma imagen con un buen efecto. ¿Qué me dicen?
