Spring
It is Spring now, my Love!
The field sheds its coarse garment;
There is no tree that does not have
Its heart open, all in bloom!
Ah! Let yourself drift, calmly, at the whim
Of life... there is no good that does not come to us
From a bad that our pride vainly disdains!
There is no good that cannot be better!
I have also shed my sad gray cloak,
And now I smell of rosemary and spikenard
And now I walk dazed, awaiting you...
I put pink roses in my hair...
They look like a rosebush! Come and untie them!
