Today I will show you the photos I took from my last trip to Sete Cidades Lagoon, one of the most iconic places on the island of São Miguel and the Azores archipelago.
It was cold, with a temperature around 13ºC and a moderate wind, which could be felt while walking. I often revisit this place to take pictures and each photo, although it may show the same landscapes or even places, reveals the uniqueness of this place, which I consider magical and which brings us peace.
The light was somewhat dull, always difficult to photograph, but nature always fulfills its role here and provides final results of great scenic beauty. The first flowers were starting to bloom, a sign of the approaching spring! Next visit... in the spring, perhaps!
The lagoon is that imposing mass of water that indicates a direction to us, and the trees on its shores are living bodies, almost with a soul that always communicate with us. Birds are abundant here and the sound of nature echoes in our ears.
