Shyness
Shyness is a feeling of fear or discomfort caused by other people, especially in new situations or among strangers. It’s an unpleasant feeling of self-consciousness — a fear of what some people believe others are thinking.
Shyness encompasses a broad spectrum of behaviors. It’s normal for children to sometimes feel shy in new situations. Perceptions of shyness may also be cultural.
Some cultures tend to regard it negatively. Others, such as some Asian cultures, tend to regard shyness more positively.
This photograph that I took a few years ago in a sunflower field located on the outskirts of the twin cities of Acarigua-Araure, I modified it especially for this publication, using the editing tools provided by the PicsArt application, for which I used a Overlapping filters trying to highlight the female figure.
La timidez es un sentimiento de miedo o malestar causado por otras personas, especialmente en situaciones nuevas o en presencia de extraños. Es una sensación desagradable, un miedo a lo que algunas personas creen que otros están pensando.
La timidez abarca un amplio espectro de comportamientos. Es normal que los niños a veces se sientan tímidos en situaciones nuevas. Las percepciones de la timidez también pueden ser culturales.
Algunas sociedades tienden a calificarlo de forma negativa. Otros, como algunas culturas asiáticas, tienden a considerar la timidez de manera más positiva.
Esta fotografía que tomé unos años atrás en un sembradío de girasoles ubicado en las afueras de las ciudades gemelas de Acarigua-Araure, la modifiqué especialmente para esta publicación, haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que proporciona la aplicación PicsArt, para lo cual empleé una superposición de filtros procurando destacar la figura femenina.
