A Room with a View
The term sea is used generically to refer to the mass of salty water that covers most of the planet earth, including the smaller seas and oceans.
On the other hand and without having anything to do with the great masses of water, but if taking into account the immensity that characterizes the seas, the word sea is also usually used to refer to the abundance of something.
This recent photograph corresponds to the Morrocoy National Park, a protected marine reserve located in Falcón state, on the central western coast of Venezuela.
It is known for its mangroves, its white sand beaches and its keys or islets. In its clear waters you can see coral reefs, sea turtles and dolphins.
The original image, as I have described it in previous publications, I intervened using the editing tools provided by PicsArt, in order to accentuate the shades of blue in the sky and sea.
El término mar se utiliza de forma genérica para denominar al conjunto de la masa de agua salada que recubre la mayor parte del planeta tierra, incluyéndose en ella a los mares menores y océanos.
Por otra parte y sin tener nada que ver con la grandes masas de agua, pero si tomando en cuenta la inmensidad que caracteriza a los mares, la palabra mar, suele ser usada también para referirse a la abundancia de algo.
Esta fotografía de reciente data, corresponde al Parque Nacional Morrocoy, una reserva marina protegida que se encuentra ubicada en el estado Falcón, en el litoral centro occidental venezolano.
Es conocido por sus manglares, sus playas de arenas blancas y sus cayos o islotes. En sus claras aguas pueden observarse arrecifes de coral, tortugas marinas y delfines.
La imagen original, tal como lo he descrito en publicaciones anteriores, la intervine haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que proporciona PicsArt, con la finalidad de acentuar las tonalidades del azul en el cielo y el mar.
