Creeping Daisy
These small flowers of an intense yellow color with a diameter that varies between 2 to 4 cms, and that usually attract a great amount of bees and other insects, are called Sphagneticola trilobata, although they are commonly known as Creeping Daisy.
It is native to tropical South America and Central America, and is considered an invasive species in the islands of the Pacific Ocean and in Europe.
On the first floor of the building where my mother lives in the city of Barquisimeto, Venezuela; there are some planters located in the front of the building, just where the owners or visitors must circulate, unless the subway parking lot is used; which are covered with these striking and tiny flowers, and when I go there, I usually photograph them.

Estas florecillas de un intenso color amarillo con un diámetro que varía entre 2 a 4 cms., y que suelen atraer una gran cantidad de abejas y otros insectos, se denominan Sphagneticola trilobata, aunque son conocidas comúnmente como Margarita Rastrera o Vedelia.
Es nativa de las zonas tropicales de América del Sur y de Centroamérica, y se le considera una especie invasora en las islas del Océano Pacífico y en Europa.
En la planta baja del edificio donde vive mi madre en la ciudad de Barquisimeto, Venezuela; existen unas jardineras ubicadas en la parte frontal de la edificación, justo por donde deben circular los propietarios o visitantes, salvo que se use el estacionamiento subterráneo; que se encuentran cubiertas de estas llamativas y diminutas flores, y cuando acudo, suelo fotografiarlas.
