Faith
Faith is a person's belief, trust or confidence in relation to someone or something and, as such, manifests itself over and above the need to possess evidence to demonstrate the truth of what is believed. It is also usually defined as a belief that is not supported by evidence, beyond the assurance to some degree of a promise.
In various religious practices, faith is fundamental. In this sense, a religion's set of beliefs is called faith. In Christianity, it is considered a theological virtue, and is based on the work and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth.
I took these pictures recently, during a visit I made to the "Basílica Menor de Santa Rosa de Lima", a catholic temple located in the town of Santa Rosa del Cerrito, east of Barquisimeto, the city where I live. The windows of the building have beautiful and colorful stained glass windows that have been donated by individuals, families and local businesses.
As I have described in previous publications, I intervened the original image using the editing tools of the PicsArt application, for which I used an overlay of filters.
La fe es la creencia, confianza o seguridad de una persona en relación con alguien o algo y, como tal, se manifiesta por encima de la necesidad de poseer evidencias que demuestren la verdad de aquello en lo que se cree. También se define usualmente como una creencia que no está soportada en pruebas, más allá de la seguridad en algún grado de una promesa.
En las diversas prácticas religiosas, la fe es fundamental. En este sentido se denomina fe al conjunto de creencias de una religión. En el cristianismo, se le considera una virtud teologal, y está basada en la obra y enseñanzas de Jesús de Nazaret.
Estas fotografías las tomé recientemente, durante una visita que realicé a la "Basílica Menor de Santa Rosa de Lima", un templo católico ubicado en la población de Santa Rosa del Cerrito, al este de la Barquisimeto, la ciudad donde resido. Las ventanas de la edificación cuentan con hermosos y coloridos vitrales que han sido donados por personas, familias y empresas locales.
Al igual que he descrito en publicaciones anteriores, intervine la imagen original haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición de la aplicación PicsArt, para lo cual empleé una superposición de filtros.
