The Puerto Cabello Municipal Theater inaugurated in January 1886, after more than two decades of work, is a building representative of the neoclassical architecture of the late nineteenth century.
Located in the Historic Center of this Venezuelan city on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, it has a capacity for 647 seats and has a facade similar to the Tascón Theater of Havana, being declared a National Historic Monument on June 8, 1981.
During a short trip I made a few years ago to this town, I had the opportunity to take pictures of the area, among which I chose this one to intervene with the editing tools provided by the PicsArt application, for which I used a superposition of filters, starting with an HDR filter, and then a Black & White one, to finally cut the sky outline and replace its original color with a negative and then add it back to the photo.
El Teatro Municipal de Puerto Cabello inaugurado en enero de 1886, luego de más de dos décadas de trabajos, es una edificación representativa de la arquitectura neoclásica de finales del Siglo XIX.
Ubicado en el Casco Histórico de esta ciudad venezolana ubicada a orillas del Mar Caribe, tiene una capacidad para 647 butacas y posee una fachada similar al Teatro Tascón de La Habana, siendo declarado Monumento Histórico Nacional el 8 de junio de 1981.
Durante un corto viaje que realizara unos años atrás a esta población, tuve la oportunidad de tomar fotografías de la zona, entre las cuales escogí esta para intervenirla con las herramientas de edición que proporciona la aplicación PicsArt, para lo cual usé una superposición de filtros, empezando con un filtro de tipo HDR, y a continuación uno de Blanco & Negro, para finalmente, recortar el contorno del cielo y sustituir su color original por un negativo para luego agregarlo nuevamente a la foto.
