History
The founding of the Larense History Center in December 1941, signified a very important advance for the local culture as it has endowed the region with an autonomous academy dedicated to studies and research.
Its headquarters, located in a beautiful colonial house that was declared the city's cultural heritage, also houses the Barquisimeto Photo Library, where the photographic heritage of the city and the country is preserved for posterity. The spaces of the institution are open to those who request certain research.
The photograph taken a few years ago, and in which the central courtyard of the building is observed, I intervened using the image editing tools offered by the PicsArt application, as I have described in previous publications..
La fundación del Centro de Historia Larense en diciembre de 1941, significó un avance muy importante para la cultura local por haberse dotado a la región de una academia autónoma dedicada a los estudios y a la investigación.
Su sede ubicada en una hermosa casona colonial que fue declarada patrimonio cultural de la ciudad, también alberga la Fototeca de Barquisimeto, donde se preserva pars la posteridad el patrimonio fotográfico de la ciudad y el país. Los espacios de la institución están abiertos para quienes soliciten determinada investigación.
La fotografía tomada unos años atrás y en la que se observa el patio central de la edificación, la intervine haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición de imágenes que ofrece la aplicación PicsArt, como he descrito en publicaciones anteriores.
