The World of XPILAR - B&W PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #031 - Perception [ENG/ESP]

Perception
Perception is a mental faculty, which consists of receiving, interpreting and understanding the signals that come from the outside, which can be interpreted differently by each person, so that sometimes, what you see in one way, another person can see it in a totally different way. In essence, it is the way in which the brain detects the sensations and stimuli that it receives through the senses to form a conscious impression of the physical reality of its environment.
This image taken a few years ago, corresponds to a field of sunflowers located next to the "General José Antonio Páez" Highway, a short distance from the twin cities of Acarigua - Araure, in the Venezuelan western plains.
To modify the original photo, as I have done for previous publications, I made use of the PicsArt application, using a filter overlay, starting with a filter of the HDR (High Dynamic Range) type in order to enlarge the tones of the image original, and later I used a Black & White filter.
La percepción es una facultad mental, que consiste en recibir, interpretar y comprender las señales que provienen desde el exterior, las cuales pueden ser interpretadas de manera diferente por cada persona, por lo que en ocasiones, lo que tú ves de una forma, otra persona lo puede ver de forma totalmente diferente. En esencia, es la forma en la que el cerebro detecta las sensaciones y estímulos que recibe a través de los sentidos para formar una impresión consciente de la realidad física de su entorno.
Esta imagen tomada pocos años atrás, corresponde a un sembradío de girasoles ubicado a un costado de la Autopista General José Antonio Páez, a corta distancia de las ciudades gemelas de Acarigua - Araure, en los llanos occidentales venezolanos.
Para modificar la foto original, hice uso de la aplicación PicsArt, empleando una superposición de filtros, comenzando con un filtro del tipo HDR (High Dynamic Range) con la finalidad de ampliar los tonos de la imagen original, y posteriormente usé un filtro de Blanco & Negro.
