An ancient structure built in 1780 ||
The structure you see now was built in 1780. Today I will share some things about this old Zaminhar Mahal.This subcontinent of ours including Bangladesh was ruled by the British for almost 200 years. During the British rule, these structures were built by the British government to collect taxes in different parts of our country. At that time the East India Company was working under the British government.Some detectives of the British government used to collect taxes in about 4-5 upazilas from this place.

This establishment is located about 25 km from my house. The place is called Ratanpur Zamindar Mahal. It is located in Birampur Upazila which falls within Dinajpur Dist.Located in Ratanpur Bazar, this zamindar house is close to several high schools and primary schools. Students and visitors can often be seen here and they organize various picnics here.
There are some special reasons for this dream that I know from the people of the area. Various types of taxes were collected up to about 100 km from this establishment. Although it was beyond the means of people, money was taken forcibly.Although very old, this structure is very strong even today. We can say that most of the structures that the British government built in our country were very strong.

Its internal parts are almost destroyed. Even though such an old structure, people dry their various furniture on its roof.A few days ago @stef1 sir, posted about setting fire to an old structure. I actually found an old build today after seeing his post.At present these old structures are falling into disrepair due to lack of maintenance.
I think these old structures need to be preserved with care. The next generation will be able to see all these structures.

I wonder why this beautiful historical building didn't preserve..i always amazed to see historical building everytime i visit place like this i always wonder what the story in the past..
