Learn how to blend colors to create a beautiful silhouette painting with me!

In this art tutorial, I will show you on how to use watercolor in galaxy-themed painting where the lovers are inside the snowball while experiencing the silhouette view.

STEP-BY-STEP PROCEDURE:

1- Use any round material to trace on paper.

I used plate.

2- Then, apply these colors and blend them well (blue, purple and black). Use only black when you like to darken some parts of blended color. You can also use white if you want a lighter color but it's not that necessary to use white.

Blend those colors until you will have this look. Leave some unpainted space below for the another subject.

3- Next, start the another subject (tree) with few strokes using black colored watercolor.

Create another longer strokes for the branches.

Afterwards, work for the tree trunk.

4- Make some thin lines for the swing hanging in the branch.

Let someone play on the swing. The Lovers. Use pencil to avoid mistake then use black colored pen for it to experience the silhouette effect.

5- Continue using black colored pen for the land and grass. You can also use watercolor for this part. You can use between watercolor and colored pen as long as you are comfortable with it.

Create some pointy curved short lines for the grass' sprouts.

6- To finish this subject, continue to paint the unpainted area.

Create some white and blue colored dots around the tree as the glazing stars.

Lastly, add more details for this subject. (For mine, I repeat the first procedure but fir this time I am using black colored pen.)

And came up with idea of glassball or known as snowball.

Well done. Achieved!

With this quick and easy art tutorial will give you more ideas to paint by blending different desired colors and adding more details for progress. i'm only using ordinary/kid's water color by the way. It doesn't cost much. It only costs 0.31 USD (15 PHP).

this is good as remedy for those suffering anxiety as well (like me). Instead of havibg deep thoughts, you better think of beautiful scenery or moments.
