Artistic Origami. Sea turtle on reef

Greetings dear community, you are all welcome to my art blog. Today I bring you another post of "Artistic Origami", in which I will not only show you the process of elaboration and folding of the paper, but also a digital edition and painting of it. The figure that I will show you in this post is a sea turtle, it's another new design for me, that although it was a little more elaborated, it's not difficult to make, I like very much this kind of publications because it allows me to learn new designs and to experiment with a real object at the moment of the digital painting. First I started with a square sheet of bond paper of approximately 22*22cm, in the process of origami I registered through photos most of the folds I made, capturing the ones I considered most relevant, achieving a total of 31 shots represented in a gif.

Saludos querida comunidad, sean todos bienvenidos a mi blog de arte. Hoy les traigo otro post de “Origami artístico”, en el cual no solo mostrare el proceso de elaboración y doblado del papel, sino también un trabajo de edición y pintado digital del mismo. La figura que les mostraré en este post se trata de una tortuga marina, es otro diseño nuevo para mí, que aunque fue un poco más elaborado, no es difícil de realizar, me gusta mucho este tipo de publicaciones ya que me permite aprender nuevos diseños y experimentar con un objeto real al momento del pintado digital. Primero empecé con una hoja de papel bond cuadrada de aproximadamente 22*22cm, en el proceso del origami fui registrando a través de fotos la mayoría de los dobleces que realice, capturando los que consideraba con mayor relevancia, logrando un total de 31 tomas representadas en un gif.

Then I went to the edition of the figure, being a sea turtle, first look for internet references on the morphology of them, to get a clearer idea when painting and achieve a more accurate approach to the animal, I must say that this step was a little difficult, make the design of the shell took me some time; Then I went on to make the environment where it is, at the beginning and because of the position in which I took the final photo of the orgami, I had in mind to make a beach theme, where the turtle was coming out of the sea to lay its eggs, but at the end I chose a reef scene at the bottom of the sea. Seguidamente pase a la edición de la figura, tratándose de una tortuga marina, primeramente busque referencias de internet sobre la morfología de ellas, para tener una idea más clara a la hora de pintarla y lograr una aproximación más acertada del animal, debo decir que este paso fue un poco difícil, realizar el diseño del caparazón me tomo algo de tiempo; luego pase a realizar el ambiente donde se encuentra, al principio y por la posición en que tome la foto final del orgami, tenía en mente realizar una temática de playa, donde la tortuga estuviese saliendo del mar a desovar, pero al final me decante en un escenario de arrecife en el fondo del mar.
