Remnants of summer
There are places in our house where you can find many different beautiful things from forgotten stocks. Once again, it happened when I got to one of the dusty shelves on the veranda.
One day I was surprised that butterflies belong to the category of those who have scales. It is so small on the wings of butterflies that it is not noticeable and we only see a pattern created by cone-shaped optical scales in which light is refracted and different colors and shades are created due to interference. The pigment is in the layer under the scales, and light does the rest. That's why most butterflies are so beautiful.
And, although butterflies die, their wings do not lose their beauty for many years with careful storage. This butterfly died of age, having wintered for more than one winter, it will not remain in one of my boxes forever as if it were alive.
I found this wing under the web. The spiders left the most beautiful thing uneaten.

её мечтой было превращение во много-много личинок и куколок, а учитывая возраст потрёпанных крыльев, осуществить это удалось не один раз :)
