For some reason, I have kept this clay ball for many years. You can definitely make new ones, and they will also be stored, because it's a pity to throw away such a nice thing. You can burn them and they will become as strong as a stone, but this one is simply rolled up and dried by time without any burning. However, it is also durable, if it has lived on my shelves for so long and has never cracked. It can only be soaked with water and it will become shapeless clay again.
And then the day came when I decided to make a still life with this ball, putting it in a small ceramic vessel. Clay and clay. It so happened that one clay is alive, which still has the potency to turn into anything, and the other is already fixed in its form by fire and can serve me only with what it is now. This thing will never become clay, even if it is broken and ground into powder. Now it's a rock.
И вот настал день, когда я решила сделать натюрморт с этим шариком, поместив его в маленький керамический сосуд. Глина и глина. Так получилось, что одна глина живая, которая все еще обладает способностью превращаться во что угодно, а другая уже закреплена в своей форме огнем и может служить мне только такой, какая она есть сейчас. But I always thought about this ball that it was almost perfectly spherical, and only when I saw it in the viewfinder and in the photos, I realized that this was far from the case. It turned out not very round, although the hand does not feel it and there are folds and swellings on it. The momentary disappointment passed and I accepted him for what he really is.
At one time I carried this ball in my pocket to sometimes take it in my hand, because it is warm and very pleasant. We became friends as soon as it dried and became durable. I don't remember his exact age, but it's been at least six years. One day we brought pink clay from a quarry and immediately decided to try its plasticity. That's how this ball turned out, and since then it has even survived several relocations, when I carefully packed it into a box with various other little things that don't seem very necessary, but for some reason dear to me.
Ceramics is also a pleasant thing, like any stone, but when this stone is made by a person from an amorphous piece of clay, it already has a certain idea and meaning. I can talk a lot about this topic and even remember Adam, but I will focus on this ceramic vessel made by an unknown person who became a temporary shelter for my clay ball that I made.
And so I took it out of the bowl and put it on the surface of the printer... This is also a still life with meaning, which can be talked about for a very long time.

Глина и глина... да, тут можно разные пласты смыслов поднимать... а ещё глину можно есть )
И форма может быть символом, тут и Колобка можно вспомнить))
Я когда пытался жирность глины определить, то шарик раздавливал и смотрел, появляются ли трещины. Это когда печь собирался класть. Давно ж это было, а печь пока работает ))
эта розовая оказалась хороша. Надо будет поискать из неё поделки. В неё совсем не пришлось ничего добавлять, готовая к запеканию. Цвет после выпечки светло-коралловый.
это везение, я искал по берегам рек, так чтобы сразу в яблочко по жирности не бывало.
Вот вспомнил про глину, надо бы что-то поваять, а для начала отыскать в гараже ))
Рождение формы) Как из яйца - цыплёнок - в этом смысле.
