Photo of the week #119 | A date with a forest and a lake

It is not difficult to choose a picnic spot on Snetkovsky Lake, because there are not many people there. This time we saw only one night campfire on the opposite shore and did not meet any of the people, having stayed there for two days. The forest is not planted there, it is real and welcomes kind guests warmly and affably. A thick warm mat of fallen needles crunches and springs underfoot. You can sleep on this without bedding and nothing but good will happen.

We arrived at the lake in the evening and were exploring the space chosen for parking because there was a little equipped place for fishing, which means that we will be able to catch a fish.

Dinner, brought with him, was heated on a primus stove, and when it got dark, a fire was already lit "for the soul." We never cook meat on fire, so the fire just burned, warming us and giving us a time of bliss devoted to watching the play of the flame.

It's always quiet around the campfire, interesting conversations always begin, but more I just want to be silent and listen to the crackle of burning wood, watch the sparks fly out.

On the other side of the lake, people were sitting at their campfire in the same way, and from their side they could see our campfire. There was no one else on this small lake that night except us.

In the morning we woke up in a fog. It took some time for the opposite shore and the water of the lake to appear through it. Then the attempts to catch a fish began and it succeeded. The ear of crucians and roaches turned out to be very tasty, although the fish was small.

I remember such a vacation for a long time and I can talk about each place for a long time, although nothing special happens. I don't even want to give such a pastime the cheerful name "picnic", because everything happens quietly, thoughtfully and without much fun, which we have enough in the city. And such a nature disposes to something completely different. For example, I like to blow soap bubbles over the surface of the lake and watch them fly away, fall on the water and burst...
