B&W PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #156 - Peeping
Photographing plants, flowers and various insects, I begin to catch myself thinking that I am an uninvited guest next to them and am engaged in peeping. And we are all those who approach the holy of holies of the secret life processes of these creatures with the lenses of our cameras. They are alive, going about their business, and we fuss, cut, tear, put them in a jar to get a better look and photograph.
They don't need to contact us humans. It would be better for them to live and bloom in some secluded places away from our flower beds and paths in order to remain whole in their world and calmly perform their tasks.
Today I photographed these iris flowers in my garden, but they grow under a lime tree, and we don't bother them once again. However, today I still cut three steps with flowers, because they were lying on the ground, blown by a strong wind, and did not want to climb in any way. I brought them home and put them in a vase to admire, and, of course, they are photographed in a calm environment, not in the wind. But these home photos haven't been taken yet, and I'll show them to you later.
