B&W PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #144 | night lights
It is enough to remove the color from the bright night photos and they become meditative. It seems that way to me, because I've seen them too colored before, where the gaze wanders from one object to another and can't stop or concentrate on anything. Such a "carnival" is not always in the mood, and black-and-white photography keeps attention for a long time and disposes to appropriate reflections or just rest from the surrounding bustle.
It seems to me very useful to periodically part with color in photography or even leave it forever, remembering those times when there was no color otography at all and for some reason the pictures began to be painted with brushes.
Photography should give aesthetic pleasure and encourage philosophical reflection. I can only do this by looking at black-and-white analog images.
