Dog in gouache

I don't see too many gouache artists on steemit, and I bought some pastel paper, and was craving to see some white paint splashed on it, so I decided to paint a dog in gouache. The first picture I used as my reference did not work out well for me. I miscalculated the grid I needed to draw and so I wasted time drawing a weird looking dog. Today was not the day to try again with the same picture, so I got something fresh. I really liked this dog's pose and felt happy that all was not in vain. Time lost, yes, but it was worth it in the end.
