RE: Back and Looking Forward - Imprinted by LightCaptured
Before they start with the discounts they raise the prices with 30%.
Hahaha, so it doesn't matter which part of the world, stores do the same.
So so so familiar :D
Sometimes this increase-before-discount is only on the price tag :))) Marketing tricks, probably coming from across the ocean, after all. Wild-wild-west :D
Thank you and I wish you a great week. We are under a big house reconstruction, kinda urgent, so I hope to find soon time again to check out my favorite blogging blockchain :)))
All the best with the renovation. I hope it wents well and no one hits the road with the tools, bricks, windows and roof tiles.
A great relaxed time.
🍀♥️
Thank you :)
So far so good, despite a minor injury I caused myself on my left leg while getting down from the roof... I'll be as new in a couple of days :)
We are using a relatively new "technology" to repair our roof, perhaps I'll put a post, as this is the second part of that particular repair, we fixed the other part of the roof two years ago and I am satisfied with the inspection of the old part.
Long story short - no roof tiles on our house, but asphalt shingles instead, they were originally dark-brown, now we are applying liquid rubber roofing on top of them, with a special white rubber, it is in two layers with a textile membrane in between the layers of rubber and as a result the whole roof becomes white. This has a wonderful effect during the hot summers - two degrees Celsius down for the part of the house we completed two years ago ;)
If you injured yourself you can't be back to brand new LOL
If you write that post please, let me know. I assume no leakages either? The temperature isn't such an issue. I wonder if the leaves of trees affect it.
Some parts of me still regenerate, LMAO :P
Yes, with this rubber technology, the whole roof becomes as a single shingle so no leakages at all. The price is quite good too, excluding the manual labour I am putting myself, heheh.
I suspect this new layer also has a thermal insulation effect but couldn't find anything related online.
I ordered the rubber and the textile layer in May, the total cost per m2 is about EUR 6-7.
The huge problem with that "technology" is that temperatures (day+night) should not drop below +16 C as if that happens then the rubber crystalizes and doesn't cover the surfaces properly but then those days are in terms hot and I cannot work under burning sunlight for more than 2-3 hours. (It's a wonderful cardio-exercise, by the way :DD) Also, the roof has to be absolutely dry and some mornings there is morning dew and the roof is wet so I have to wait for it to dry before starting the application.
What do you mean by "if the leaves of trees affect it"?
Have an awesome Sunday! :)
