Years ago I was told by a foreigner that we are 50 years behind. But I think the years vary on the different issues maybe. In some respects, there may not even be a reach, no matter how many years pass.
I suppose you're right.
Also the progress is different in the different areas and regions of the country but that's normal and valid everywhere, I guess :)
