Bulgaria, Meander on river Arda
Recently I found out about the new "BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART" contest by @axeman and I have decided to support this great initiative by sending my first entry, I hope you all like it and enjoy it.
This so far unpublished photo I took at a famous for its beauty meander in Southern Bulgaria, it's river Arda. There weren't any clouds that day so I thought putting the Sun in the frame and making it more abstract by removing the colors would be a good start ;) I even like the dust on the lens filter!

First, the image is beautiful, and the River looks magnificent. The sun is fantastic, the smooth curve on the rays makes it surreal with strong presence. But I need to ask, are not clouds those on the back of the mountains? Or are those mountains too? :O

You're absolutely right, there is one puffy cloud hiding in the distance behind the mountain :))) I guess it was just my regret not having the sky full of "defining" clouds giving more dramatics to the picture...
