It's impressive to know about that tradition, but thinking a little I'm sure here in México exist some similarities according to insects and for to capture, kill them or even cook them. In some states there are some recipes for "Chapulines" (grasshoppers), which I've tried one or two times I need to accept that they are tasty!!
