HI friends, Hope all are fine.. Today I am share my area Chennai, South India Tourist place list.

I am currently live in Chennai, long Ten years.. I visit lot of places to today I my post I share my experiences with you.

In one Day in my area is possible to visit nearly Top 10 tourist places. All those places are combination of pilgrim, historical places, museums and many more included.

With in 24 hours, in Chennai is possible to visit Ten famous places, this is one advantage in my area, because all are situated surrounded us, no time waste on traveling. In my post all details I given hear, if possible all of you at lest one time visit my all those places.

In my area there is lot tourist agencies at reasonable price, once we register then all available needs they arranged including accommodation with food to.
So hear is possible to reduce our valuable money and time too.

Chennai is most developed, sought Indian, magnificent heritage place. Hear traffic also less compared to other cities, because lot of major bridges, road division available hear.

Now I give details about top 10 places in my area.

1. Sri Parthasarathy Temple :-

This temple built by Pallavas in the 8th century and Parthasarathy temple is oldest temple in Chennai. In 16 the century again this temple get upgrades and reconstruction by Vijayanagar Empire. This temple main attractions five lords situated in one place lord Rama, Krishna, Narasimha, Ranganatha, and Gajendra..

One more thing is this temple is one of the 108 Sri Vaishavites, so all ways lot of devotees go there throughout out the year.

Location: Narayana Krishnaraja Puram, Triplicane

Timings: 05:30 am – 12:00 pm; 04:00 pm – 09:00 pm

2.Government Museum

This museum established in 1857,This museum is second most oldest in India too. In museums we see lot of art and zoology collection. archaeological and numismatic collections hear we see lot of collections too.

One of the most highlights in this museum is having lot of collections related to Roman antiquities and South Indian bronzes so lot of history researchers always visit this place.

One more this is hear we possible to visit rare art collection of great artist Raja Ravi Varma works too.

Location: Pantheon Rd, Egmore

Timings: 09.30 am to 05.00 pm (Closed on Friday)

Entry Fee: ₹15 for Indians; ₹250 for Foreigners

1. Valluvar Kottam

This Vallarta kottam is another interesting architecture in Chennai. This valuation kottam built to pay tribute to the famous Tamil poet Saint Thiruvalluvar. He is famous poet in Tamil.

He wrote lot of books, poetry in Tamil so for his indication this Valluvar kottam established.

This monument is nearly a 101-feet high and from this is possible to visit complete Nungambakkam, and this completely build using 3000 stones and not using other materials. One of greatest architecture in India.

One more attraction is hear 33-meter tall statue of Saint Thiruvalluvar is also situated hear, and also wrote his work on the walls of the chariot. In this place we also possible to visit one auditorium also, it has capacity of 3500 siting posse hear.

4.Santhome Cathedral Basilica

This is one of the oldest church in my area, it's also known as San Thomas Cathedral Basilica too. Very famous and tourist place in Chennai.

This church established inspired by Neo-gothic style, so it having big windows, well-lit interiors too.

We have one believed this also hear that is 12 apostles of the Christ who visited the place was put to death in 72 A.D.So still hear we see their fingerprints. Hear we have one big museum inside the church.

Location: Santhome High Road

Timings: 06:00 am – 09:00 pm (All days of the week)

1. Kapaleeshwarar Temple

In this Temple Lord Shiva has possible to see, this temple built in 8 th century by pallavas, again this temple reconstructs by Vijayanagara Empire in 16 the century. Current temple we see that reconstructs one.

This temple is one the most oldest, and beautiful temple in Chennai. Hear we see 37 meters tall gopuram in the temple, which is inspired by Dravidian architecture. In this temple we also possible to see 63 Nayanars beautiful Sculptures. If you have interest in art and history then must visit this place.

Location: Vinayaka Nagar Colony, Mylapore

Timings: 05:00 am – 11:00 am; 04:00 pm – 09:30 pm

1. Marina Beach

I think all most all known about this beach because this beach is world second largest beach. So with out visiting this your trip not get complete.

Hear we see fishing, water sports, and windsurfing. And this sad in golden course very beautiful place.

Are you a food lovers then you must visit this place, because Hear we get all varieties of see food items and snacks too.

Walking from beach to light house is give amazing feel. So must visit this place.

All most all days it open.

1. Semmozhi Poonga

Semmozhi poonga is botanical garden set up by Horticulture Department by Tamil Nadu Government. This is set up nearly 20 acres, Hear there is 500 different types of plants along with rare herbal plants are there.

This place is one of the beautiful place in Chennai.

Some plants they imported from China and Thailand of Bonsai varieties too.

In this garden we see lot of water rock falls those are main attraction in this garden so it is one of the famous picnic spot also.

Location: Ellaiamman Colony, Teynampet

Timings: 10:00 am – 07:30 pm

Entry Fee: ₹ 15

1. T. Nagar

T Nager is major commercial and business spot in Chennai. Very famous for silk sarees with out saree buying no tourist return home. In this place we can possible to but lot of items at one place that to available very low price.

Hear we see lot of street side stalls, Hear we get lot of variety of south Indian dishes.

All days this place opens.

1. Vivekananda House

Vivekananda Hose is one of best historical place in Chennai, Hear we see lot of paintings, life history of Swami Vivekananda. Hear there is one museum too, lot of Swami Vivekananda related books, and many more products we possible to visit. This house architecture also another attraction.

Timings: 10:00 am – 12:30 pm; 03:00 pm – 07:30 pm (Closed on Monday)

Entry Fee: ₹ 10

1. MGR Film City

MGR film studio is famous film studio in Chennai this name come from long time chief minister of state MG Ramachandran. This film studio nearly established 70 acres. This is shooting spot for all films too. Hear we see lot of artificial architectures and many more wonders too.

Location: Taramani

Timings: 08:00 am – 08:00 pm

Entry Fee: ₹ 25

Like that all those difficult places we can possibly to visit with in 24 hours.

Lot of hotels and restaurants available for our needs. So must get amazing trip.
