Week II | Category Macro Photography I | New Contest 2021 | Insects | Flower & Bee

In the garden of innocence Flower & Bee should be seen for survival issues, but not tolerated. Bee has been bitten by Flower's thorns and believes she does it on purpose. It is not Flower's fault that she was born on a cactus, and her sensitivity does not allow her to forget how Bee has looked at her in anger and fear when she is stung. A sacrifice Bee must make because Flower is the only one in the place. One day, the owner of the garden wanted to get rid of the flower cactus, because enough pricks had happened to him, Bee realizing what was going to happen if she was left without any support, so she bit the old man's neck. The angry old man left the pot and went straight home.

Out of gratitude Flower left the grudge and explained to Bee what was happening with her thorns. For her part, Bee understood that like all bees, the connection with the flowers is something vital for them, and regardless of their appearance, they fulfill an important function: to give them life. To solve this issue of the thorns, Flower advised Bee to go to her carefully and land on her red petals and not on her stems, doing so within an hour of the old grumbler. Now, Flower & Bee are best friends in the garden of innocence.

At each sunset, Flower hides and Bee returns to her colony; both anxiously waiting for another day of a new adventure, full of pleasant conversations. The reason why the old man left the cactus is a mystery. Perhaps, Flower reminded him of his beloved, as his late wife had a garden full of many flowers. Flower is probably the reincarnation of his beloved. And now, she is there to accompany him along with Bee.

P.S.: two years that I've been living here I haven't seen any exotic bugs. And because of the quarantine the metropolitan park is closed, otherwise I would have ventured into the forest.
