WOX Travel Contest | Week 9 | Nonpareil Estate & Waterfalls | 3% that save lives!

Hello Steemians!

How are you guys? Hope you all keep well. So today I will share with you another travel experience that I went last week. I have told you that my university is located in the tourist paradise of Belihul Oya. One of the nearby tourist destinations is Nonpareil Estate. So today I will share the details about it with you.

Nanperial Estate is located after Belihul Oya town on the way from Balangoda to Badulla. There are several tourist destinations to visit in Nonperial Estate. They are,

• Baker's Bend
• Moover Falls
• Nagrak Banglow
• Nonpareil Estate Falls
• Natural Pool Nonpareil

Most of these tourist destinations are more than 5000 feet above sea level. So you can see a beautiful view. Hirikatu Oya(river) flows nearby and its beauty can be seen from Nanperial.The fact that Mr. Bakers, the man who discovered Little England or Nuwara Eliya in Sri Lanka, slid on his horse and fell to his death with it gave Baker's Bend its name.

On the day we went there, it was raining very hard. It is best to go on a non-rainy day. But we were able to see several waterfalls that occur only during the rainy season.

Nanpareial is 13 km from the entrance to the end and walking will give a better experience. A night stay at Nagrak Bungalow will bring you an unforgettable experience.

So this is the end of my story. Also, I would like to say that I joined Club75 on the Steemit platform today. And as of today, it's been 2 months since I joined Steemit.
