WOX Travel Contest | Week 5 | Visiting to look 7 virgins

How's everything going with you all? I hope you're doing well. Within this post I hope to attend WOX-Travel Contest Week 5 That hosted by @oleh. This is my 4th time participating in this contest. So today I hope to tell you another of my travel story I went in 2021. So let's move to the story,
"Saptha Kanya" is a mountain range in the Nuwara Eliya district. The meaning of Saptha Kanya is "7 Virgins". The reason for it there are 7 mountain peaks in the mountain range. You can see this beautiful mountain range from Laxapana town. This mountain is very famous because in 1974 a plane crashed on this mountain. 191 people were killed by this crash. It was an airplane that was carrying Indonesians for a pilgrimage to Mecca. The freight name is "Martinair Flight 138" I think if you are from Indonesia, You know about this accident.
Ok, now I'm going to tell you about my hike to Saptha Kanya. On that day I rock with 20 of my friends. We went from Colombo at midnight and we reached Laxapana at 6.00 am. After breakfast, we started hiking. First went to the top of the 1st mountain and then climbed to the top of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th mountains respectively. It was 11 hour's hike. We did camping at 6th peak. 6th mountain peak is the best place to camp. We didn't hike the 7th peak because there is no viewpoint. There is no clear trek for all mountains.
There are several important things you should know. They are,
- You should get special permission from the Department of Wildlife Conservation.
- Bring enough water & foods.
- There are elephants in the peak.

Thank you for participating. I live near the Carpathians and often go hiking. I can't imagine how you managed to climb 6 peaks in 11 hours. It must have been exhausting. However, the beautiful scenery is worth all the effort.
There are treks from one peak to the next. However it was about 12 km journey.
