WOX Travel Contest | Week 12/ Oceanogfafic Park - The Biggest in Europe
If I tell you that the Oceanographic Park is magically beautiful, I would be underselling it. Aquariums like this one, recreating the setting from the movie "Finding Nemo," are just a small part of the fairy tale.
The park contains not only aquariums but also outdoor pools, gardens, and reconstructions of coastal areas, including a huge bird cage.
There are live underwater gardens. I was captivated by the sea anemone.
There are huge wall aquariums in which hundreds of fish species swim. They varied in color, size, shape, and facial expressions. Some looked so sad, as if they had missed an episode of their favorite Latin soap opera.
Besides fish, there were also many representatives of jellyfish, ranging from a few millimeters to tens of centimeters. There were no meter-long monsters. Look for those in the novel about Captain Nemo.
There is a separate aquarium just for sharks and their friends, the rays. Spectators are in a tunnel, with the aquarium around and above them.
The entrance fee for adults is 35 euros.
Oceanogfafic is made with great attention for the marine inhabitants, with people taking the best possible care of them and recreating everything so that it is as close to their natural environment as possible. A wonderful place if you are with children and want to show them the marine kingdom.
So, if you're in Valencia and want to see animals you've only seen on Animal Planet and Discovery, then this is the place for you. Enjoy
Wow! This park is no joke and full of enchanting attractions. The separate aquarium with the sharks with the tunnel looks stunning. Thank you for participating
