Such is the case with one of the most extravagant participants in the games - Yusuf Dikec from Turkey. Elite shooters typically use supportive gear and equipment, like lenses to sharpen vision and improve sight, special glasses with one eye covered, and headphones to reduce noise. However, Dikec had none of these, yet he helped Turkey win a silver medal. A 51-year-old casually dressed man in a t-shirt, regular glasses, and earplugs, with his hand in his pocket, took the silver. It was as if he was at a practice session. In this way, he won not only a medal for his country but also the love of us, the fans.

It turns out that this is not his first appearance at the Olympic Games, but he has never gone this far before. Another thing I read about him is that he is self-taught and has not had the opportunity to participate with a coach! This makes his success even more impressive! I also read that by profession, he was a serviceman in the General Command of the Gendarmerie with the rank of First Sergeant. With the calmness, composure, and skill he demonstrated, he could easily be cast in an action movie, maybe even in a role as James Bond. It would be cool to break some stereotypes in cinema. Yusuf Dikec is a true inspiration to me because his performance showed the world that great financial resources aren't always necessary for success, but something more is needed! It's his persistence and belief that one day he would achieve his goal... with his hand in his pocket! This is a wonderful example and lesson for all of us!
