Macro Photography Contest 2023 Part II | / A puzzling beauty

I took a picture of this plant and I don't even know its name. It seemed interesting to me and when I saw how it actually looks up close, I got a completely different impression. It looks silky and prickly at the same time. I think that it's created this way to have a better chance of survival. I wonder what kind of animals might be attracted to it and if anything actually eats it. I didn't see any options for bees since it doesn't have flowers. Nature 🪷
