Navalny's team called on people to attend the funeral despite expected police pressure and arrests of those who laid flowers in his memory. The gathered crowd chanted Navalny's name and protested against war and fear. The coffin was placed to the sounds of Frank Sinatra's "My Way" and music from the film "Terminator," which Navalny considered the greatest film ever.

Navalny's wife, Yulia, remained abroad due to fears of repression against her and her family. She bid farewell to him on social media, thanking him for their 26 years of happiness and promising to continue his work.

Navalny died on February 16 in a penal colony beyond the Arctic Circle, and his death certificate stated it was from natural causes. However, his relatives and supporters believe he was killed on Putin's orders. And no sane person doubts that there is evil in Russia, and its name is Vladimir Putin!
